Celebrate National Ag Month with NebraskaLand Bank

NebraskaLand Bank is thrilled to celebrate National Ag Month with a fun and creative event for kids! Our  Coloring Contest is back, giving young artists the chance to showcase their talents while recognizing the vital role agriculture plays in our communities. So, grab those crayons, markers, or colored pencils and get ready to color your way to the top! 

How to Participate 

It’s easy to join the fun! Here’s everything you need to know: 

Rules:

One entry per child. NebraskaLand Bank will provide the coloring pages, which you can download at the bottom of this blog or pick up at your nearest NebraskaLand Bank Branch. Add your creative touch and make it your own!

Submission Options:

1. Once your masterpiece is complete, submit it in one of two ways:
2. Drop-Off: Bring your finished entry to your nearest NebraskaLand Bank Branch by Friday, March 20, 2026.
3. Email: Send a scanned copy to us by Friday, March 20, 2026. (Call us at 308.534.2100 for the email address.)
4. Important: Don’t forget to include your name, age, and phone number on the back of the page! 

Display & Prizes 

We’re excited to showcase all entries at our Branch locations! Submissions will be on display from Monday, March 23, through Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at both our Main Branch at 1400 South Dewey location in North Platte and our Kearney Branch located at 4615 2nd Ave. Kearney. 

Our panel of judges will review all the amazing artwork, and winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Prizes will be awarded to the top entries in each age group. 

Age Groups: 

• 4–6 years 

• 7–9 years 

• 10–12 years 

Contest Timeline 

• Entry Submission Deadline: Friday, March 20, 2026
• Display Dates: March 23–31, 2026
• Winner Announcement: Wednesday, March 25, 2026

National Ag Month is a time to honor the farmers and ranchers who work tirelessly to nourish our communities. This contest is a fun way for kids to get involved and be inspired by the rich agricultural heritage that surrounds us.
