Already Banking with Us?

Here’s Why You Should Be Using NebraskaLand Bank Account Alerts

July 28, 2025

Already Banking with Us?

If you’re already a NebraskaLand Bank customer, you know we’re here to make managing your money as easy and secure as possible. But are you taking full advantage of everything we offer? NebraskaLand Bank Account Alerts are a powerful tool that many of our customers love—but if you haven’t set them up yet, you’re missing out on an easy way to stay in control of your finances.

Let’s change that today. Setting up alerts is quick, simple, and can make a big difference in how you manage your money.

Why Use NebraskaLand Bank Account Alerts?

Here’s what you’re missing out on if you’re not using alerts:

  1. Real-Time Updates

Want to know when your balance drops below a certain amount? Or when a deposit hits your account? How about when your debit card is used? With real-time alerts, you’ll know the moment it happens—no need to log in and check.

  2. Enhanced Security

Alerts can help you spot signs of fraud or unauthorized activity right away. You can also set up security alerts to monitor changes to your address, password, or account lockouts.

  3. Convenience

Alerts save you time by delivering the information you need directly to you. Whether it’s via text, email, or push notifications, you decide how you want to stay informed.

  4. Customizable Options

You’re in control. Choose from a variety of alert types, including:

    • Account Alerts: Monitor balances, deposits, and transactions.
    • Security Alerts: Get notified about changes to your account.
    • Card Alerts: Track activity on your debit cards.
    • Scheduled Alerts: Receive daily updates on balances and recent transactions.

How to Set Up NebraskaLand Bank Account Alerts

We’ve made it easy to get started. Follow these simple steps to set up alerts today:

On the Mobile App:

  1. Access Alerts

    • Open the NebraskaLand Bank mobile app.
    • Go to the More page or select the quick link on the Accounts page.
    • Turn on Push Notifications to start receiving real-time updates.
  2. Add Alerts

    • Choose the type of alert you’d like to add:
      • Account Alerts: Select an account, add a new alert, choose the type (e.g., low balance), and, if needed, enter the amount to watch.
      • Security Alerts: Monitor changes to your address, password, or account lockouts.
      • Card Alerts: Track activity on your debit cards.
      • Scheduled Alerts: Get daily updates on balances and transactions.
  3. Set Delivery Preferences

    • Add, remove, or verify your email addresses and phone numbers. Once verified, they’ll be available to receive alerts.
  4. Manage Alerts

    • View your Alert History to see past notifications. You can also add, edit, or remove alerts at any time.

On Online Banking:

  1. Log In to Online Banking

    • Head to your online banking account and navigate to the “Alerts” section from your homepage or menu.
  2. Explore Your Options

    • Browse the available alert categories and select the ones that work best for you. Whether it’s tracking deposits or monitoring balances, you’ll find an alert to match your needs.
  3. Set Your Contact Preferences

    • Add your email addresses and phone numbers for text notifications in the “Contact Options” section. You can even set up “Do Not Disturb” times to pause alerts during specific hours.
  4. Activate Your Alerts

    • Save your settings, and if you’ve added a new email address, verify it by entering the activation code sent to your inbox.
  5. Manage and Monitor Alerts

    • View your active alerts in the “Sent Alerts” section. Here, you can see a list of triggered alerts, mark them as read, or delete them as needed.

What Can Alerts Do for You?

Here’s an example of how alerts can work for you:
Let’s say you want to make sure your account balance never drops below $500. Simply set up a low balance alert, and if your balance dips below that amount, you’ll get a notification in real time. It’s that easy! You can add as many alerts as you’d like and remove them anytime.

Why Wait? Set Up Alerts Today!

NebraskaLand Bank Account Alerts are already included with your account, so why not take advantage of them? They’re simple to set up, completely customizable, and can make managing your money easier than ever.

Log in to your online banking account or mobile app today and start setting up your alerts. Need help? Our team is here for you—just give us a call or stop by your local branch. We’re happy to walk you through the process.
