Background:
This locally owned bank is headquartered in North Platte
and was started by three employees and a group of local
shareholders with a vision towards the future. Their 
mission began on May 14th, 1998 with the statement reading,
"To serve North Platte and the surrounding communities
with high quality personalized service at a competitive
price", and the mission remains the same today.
NebraskaLand National Bank was started from the ground
up with $3 million in initial capital. Within 3 years,
the Bank exceeded $50 million in total assets and reached
$100 million in 5 years and 4 months. The Bank currently
has more than 40 employees, 9 board members, and over 30 local shareholders.
Mike Jacobson, President and CEO of NebraskaLand National
Bank, wanted to start a bank that focused on individual
attention and had local ownership with a local
decision process.

the Bank opened their Wal-Mart Branch in the Wal-Mart Supercenter.

the Bank moved their Main Office location, but remained in Downtown North Platte in a refurbished two story half block building at 121 North Dewey.

the Bank opened its fourth location, the North Branch in the North Side BP Amoco Convenience Store.

the Bank opened a full service Branch in Mullen, NE on the corner of Highway 97 and Main Street.

an affiliate Bank, Commerce Bank of Wyoming was built in Rock Springs, Wyoming
