NEBRASKALAND NATIONAL BANK RAISES MONEY FOR BANK CUSTOMER
On May 19th from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m .NebraskaLand National Bank and Dynamite Destruction held the first annual Shred Day. Members of the community were encouraged to bring at most one trash bag full of items to shred. The items could include bank statements, scam mailings or anything with personal information. If you brought items to shred you received lunch on NebraskaLand National Bank. Over 4400 pounds of paper were shredded in two hours. Shred Day was an example of the community working together to stop identity theft.NebraskaLand National Bank takes Identity Theft seriously. Most of the identity theft victims are between the ages of 18-29. Only five percent of the victims are over 70 years of age. Identity Theft is the number one financial fraud.
