NebraskaLand National Bank and Bob Spady Motors teamed up to support the American Cancer Society. A Carnival for Cancer was held, giving families an opportunity to enjoy an affordable and safe evening out. Such attractions were a jumping booth, blown up maze and a water shower. The water shower was perfect for the hot 90 degree weather day. Families could also come and enjoy a cooked meal by NebraskaLand National Bank for only a few dollars.

Tickets were sold four for $1. This gave children the opportunity to have their face painted, participate in a snack walk and fish for prizes. The total amount raised was $2300.00. This money was sent to the American Cancer Society to help them in their fundraising efforts for Relay for Life.
