Background:

NebraskaLand National Bank is a locally owned and operated bank headquartered in North Platte, NE. The bank was founded on May 14th, 1998 by three dedicated employees and a group of local shareholders with a vision to serve the community. Mike Jacobson, President and CEO of NebraskaLand National Bank, was determined to start a bank that focused on individual attention, local ownership, and a local decision process. With that goal in mind, NebraskaLand National Bank created its mission "To serve North Platte and the surrounding communities with high quality personalized service at a competitive price". That mission remains the same today.

NebraskaLand National Bank was started with $3 million in initial capital. Today in 2012, the bank exceeds $440 million in total assets. NebraskaLand National Bank now has more than 70 employees, 13 board members, and over 70 local shareholders who share the vision of local involvement and unbeatable personalized service.

Progress and Changes:

1998 - NebraskaLand National Bank opened their doors in a small storefront in downtown North Platte

1999 - the Bank opened their South Branch, south of the interstate in the Phillips 66 Convenience store

2000 - the Bank opened their Wal-Mart Branch in the Wal-Mart Supercenter

2001 - the Bank moved their Main Office location, but remained in Downtown North Platte in a refurbished two story half block building at 121 North Dewey

2003 - the Bank opened its fourth location, the North Branch in the North Side BP Amoco Convenience Store

2004 - the Bank opened a full service Branch in Mullen, NE on the corner of Highway 97 and Main Street

2006 - an affiliate Bank, Commerce Bank of Wyoming was started in Rock Springs, Wyoming

2009 - the two Banks merged and NebraskaLand National Bank branched in Commerce Bank of Wyoming located at 1575 Dewar Dr. Suite 100

2010 - NebraskaLand National Bank became the largest bank based on the FDIC's Annual Summary of Deposits for Lincoln County, Nebraska

2011- the Bank expanded our presence in Original Town with a new North Branch
